Invisible and Sweep selected to play at Mexican Film Festival

‎”Invisible” and “Sweep” have both been selected to screen at a prestigious Mexican film festival. The festival has asked all participating film makers to hold off on making official announcements until the 8th of October, however, so watch this space… In addition to the excitement of screening in Latin America, this selection now means that “Invisible” has screened or will screen on all continents – Europe, Asia, Australasia, Africa, North America and South America. Anyone fancy hosting a pop-up in Antarctica to make the list complete?

Harold Chapman has a new story headlining in the Arbuturian. Some of you may remember that a year ago he undertook to cycle from Land’s End to John O’Groats for the homeless charity Open Cinema. “20 Days in June” is the travel journal of the trip (together with photos from the journey), completed when his wife was more than eight months pregnant… A film of the adventure is in its final stages and should be on-line within a week or two.

Invisible selected to screen at the Free Your Minds Festival, Cambodia

‎”Invisible” has been selected to screen at the Free Your Minds Festival in Phnom Penh in Cambodia this July. After 30 years of civil war and the genocide of the Khmer Rouge, the local art scene is slowly recovering. In partnership with the prestigious Goethe Institute, Free Your Minds is a human rights festival of film, media and art, and will be a platform of exchange for the public, artists and film makers alike.

Harold Chapman returns from trip to interview and film the legendary Reinhold Messner

Harold Chapman has just returned from the South Tyrol in Northern Italy after five days spent in the company of mountaineering legend Reinhold Messner. Together with a group of international journalists, he traveled to each of Messner’s five mountain museums and talked of his many achievements along with the tragedies of losing two brothers to the mountains and seven of his own toes…
