“Florian’s Last Climb” selected for the Beverly Hills Film Festival
Mar 2019 02

I am thrilled to announce that “Florian’s Last Climb” has been selected to screen at the Beverly Hills Film Festival in Los Angeles. The festival will run from the 3-6th April at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd, with the awards night gala taking place on the 7th at the Roosevelt Hotel. Not only does this mark the film’s North American premiere but at a venue with absolutely top notch credentials – the Chinese Theatre, formerly known as Grauman’s Chinese Theatre after its founder, opened in May, 1927 with a screening of Cecil B DeMille’s “The King of Kings”. It has since launched dozens of classics including the original “Star Wars” back in 1977, as well as hosting no less than three Academy Award ceremonies. “FLC” will be screened alongside “The Ghost of Peter Sellers”, a new feature length documentary by the veteran Anglo-Hungarian director Peter Medak, whose credits include “The Ruling Class” with Peter O’Toole, “A Day in the Death of Joe Egg” and “The Changeling” which makes it doubly an honour. The film will be repped for the duration of the festival by LA based screen writer, Victoria Arch.go to story
