Harold Chapman has a new(ish) article in The Arbuturian. “A Taste of the Tyrol” documents his descent into a dark corner of Knightsbridge for a culinary mind bender. So to speak. One for the gastronomes and gormandise amongst you.
Harold Chapman has just returned from Sicily where “Invisible” was playing at the Magma Short Film Festival in the wonderfully baroque town of Acireale on the east coast. The festival very generously wined and dined him for four days along with film makers from Poland, France, Mali, Belgium and Germany.
The feature project of “Invisible” has reached the 6 finalists in Oaxaca Film Festival’s feature competition, “Make My Dream Film”. The winner receives up to US$150,000 in production money towards making the film a reality.
“Invisible” to have its French premiere. “Invisible” has been selected to screen at The English Short Film Festival of Rouen: This is England, showing some of the very best short films to have come out of England in the last two years. The festival runs from the 26th of November to the 7th of December and “Invisible” has its screening next Thursday, the 6th. It is screening Off-Competition and is in the running for the Special Prize and a cash award of 500 euros.
