Forget the 2016 Olympics in Rio, the real events took place a couple of weeks ago in Bedford Square, Bloomsbury with Harold Chapman in attendance – “The Chap Olympiad 2016” with such legendary sporting events as “Umbrella Jousting”, “Freeform Breadbasket-Ball” and “Hen Pecked Husband”( in which he came a cropper). As ever he came pen in hand as roving reporter for “The Arb”.
Harold Chapman has just wrapped on a five week shoot of “Marley’s Ghosts”, the second series of a UKTV comedy show. Here he is with the cast on the last day. Harold Chapman with film maker buddy Ben Robards a couple of weeks ago at the Tweed Run where more than 1500 riders dressed in various items of tweed, booted and be-hatted, rode 14 miles through Central London on mounts including penny farthings and a legendary “Boneshaker” made in 1871. Armed with a go-pro and in his grandfather’s riding suit made in 1935, a promo of the experience is in the offing.
